Garlic prawns (Gambas al ajillo)
Ingredients:
- 150 g of raw prawns
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 cayenne pepper or 1/3 of a tsp chili powder (feel free to adjust the spiciness according to your liking)
- 50 ml olive oil
- Salt
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel the cloves of garlic and cut them into thin slices.
- Wash the parsley, dry well and finely chop the leaves.
- In a clay cooking pot or a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-low heat with the garlic and cayenne pepper / chili powder.
- When the garlic starts to brown a little, add the prawns.
- After 1 minute, turn them on the other side.
- After 1 more minute, add the salt, parsley and stir a couple times.
- Remove from the fire and it is ready to serve!
- You can sprinkle with a little more parsley. Enjoy!
