Guacamole
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- ½ cup red onion, chopped
- 1 ripe medium tomato or 4-6 cherry tomatoes, chopped
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper or 1 fresh red chili (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mash the avocados.
- Add the lime juice and stir well.
- Mix in onion, garlic, tomatoes and cilantro.
- Add salt and black pepper to taste.
- Stir in the cayenne pepper.
- You can serve it with baked potatoes / sweet potatoes, raw vegetables (e.g. carrots, bell pepper, radishes, etc.), healthy crackers, crunchy beet chips or with baked tortilla chips if you want to keep it traditional. The options are endless.
